What is managed IT?

Managed IT means outsourcing the management and maintenance of your technology to a dedicated provider like CareIQ. We act as your external IT department, handling everything from day-to-day support and monitoring to cybersecurity, cloud management, and strategic planning. Instead of hiring and managing internal IT staff, you get an entire team of experts for a fixed monthly fee.

How is pricing calculated?

Our pricing is based on a per-user, per-month model. This means you pay a fixed amount for each person in your organisation who uses our services. There are no surprise bills, no hourly charges for support, and no hidden fees. We offer three tiers (Essential from $49/user/month, Professional from $79/user/month, and Enterprise with custom pricing) so you can choose the level of support that fits your needs and budget.

What happens when something breaks?

If something goes wrong, contact our support team by phone, email, or through the support portal. Managed IT clients have access to priority response times, and our monitoring systems are designed to detect many issues before you even notice them. For critical problems, we provide rapid response and work until the issue is resolved. Our 24/7 monitoring means we are often fixing things proactively, before they impact your team.

Do I need to be in Queensland?

No. While CareIQ is based in Banyo, Queensland, we serve clients across Australia. The majority of our support is delivered remotely, which means location does not matter for most services. For situations that require onsite assistance, we can arrange visits or work with local partners in your area.

What about cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity is built into every service we provide. This includes endpoint protection, email security, network firewalls, regular security audits, and staff awareness training. We help businesses comply with the Australian Essential Eight framework and can provide specialised security assessments for healthcare organisations that handle sensitive patient data. Our approach is layered, meaning multiple protections work together to reduce your risk.

Can you help with NDIS compliance?

Yes. CareIQ specialises in healthcare IT, and we understand the compliance requirements that NDIS providers face. Our IT services ensure your data handling meets Privacy Act requirements, and our CareIQ Platform is purpose-built for NDIS organisations with features like participant management, plan tracking, incident reporting, and electronic signatures. What is the CareIQ Platform?

The CareIQ Platform is our purpose-built care management software for NDIS and aged care providers. It is a separate product from our managed IT services, though many of our clients use both. The platform includes participant management, NDIS plan tracking, staff rostering, incident reporting, AI-powered behaviour analysis, electronic signatures, and more. It is available as a standalone subscription.

How do I get started?

What is included in 24/7 support?

Our 24/7 support includes continuous monitoring of your systems (servers, workstations, network devices, and cloud services) around the clock. If our monitoring detects an issue, our team is alerted and responds immediately, regardless of the time. For managed IT clients, emergency support is available outside business hours for critical issues that affect your ability to operate. Regular (non-urgent) support requests are handled during business hours.

Can you help migrate from another provider?

Absolutely. We regularly help businesses transition from other IT providers or from in-house IT setups. We handle the entire migration process, including documentation of your existing environment, planning the transition, coordinating with your current provider, and ensuring zero downtime where possible. We make the switch as smooth and painless as we can.

Do you offer project-based work?

Yes. While our managed IT services are ongoing monthly agreements, we also take on one-off projects. This can include office relocations, cloud migrations, network upgrades, security audits, and system implementations. Project work is quoted separately based on the scope and complexity of the work.

What software can you provide?

As a Microsoft Partner, CareIQ has access to over 3,000 enterprise software solutions at competitive prices. This includes Microsoft 365, Azure services, security tools, backup solutions, CRM systems, and specialised industry applications. We handle licensing, procurement, deployment, and ongoing management so you have one point of contact for all your software needs.
